Garlic-Red Wine Garden Salad Recipe
You will need:
1/2 medium cucumber (ribbed and sliced)
8 cups of green leaf lettuce (torn)
1/2 cup of sliced sweet red or green bell pepper
1 cup of red cabbage (shredded)
4 spring onions (sliced lengthwise thinly)
For Garlic-Red Wine Vinegar Dressing:
1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
1/4 cup of salad oil
1 dash seasoned pepper
1/8 teaspoon of salt
1 cl garlic (pressed or minced)
1/4 teaspoon of marjoram (dried)
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions:
Toss cucumber, red cabbage and lettuce in a salad bowl.
In a medium-sized bowl blend mustard, marjoram, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper. Stir in oil and blend with a fork or whisk. Blend thoroughly until a bit thick.
